Privacy Policy

Data Storage

DuelBot stores all configuration locally on your machine in a TOML config file. This includes your Hypixel API key, Discord webhook URL, bot mode settings, and combat preferences. None of this data is transmitted to the developer or any third party beyond the connections you explicitly configure.

Network Requests

The mod makes the following network requests:

• Hypixel API (api.hypixel.net) - Fetches opponent statistics (wins, losses, winstreak) using your API key. This is only done when you are in a duel queue.
• Mojang API (api.mojang.com) - Resolves Minecraft usernames to UUIDs for stat lookups.
• Discord Webhooks - If you configure a webhook URL, game results are sent to your Discord server. The webhook URL is never shared with the developer.

Third-Party Services

DuelBot and its associated services use the following third-party platforms:

• Discord - Community server, support, and webhook delivery. Your Discord user ID is stored in the bot database if you redeem a license key.
• Vercel - The duelbot.cc website is hosted on Vercel. Vercel Analytics collects anonymous page view data. You can opt out via browser privacy settings.
• Fly.io - The Discord verification bot is hosted on Fly.io. The bot database contains license keys and Discord user IDs only.
• Essential Mod - Required for the in-game config GUI. Essential has its own privacy policy available on their website.

Data Retention

No server-side storage of your Minecraft data, Hypixel API key, or webhook URL exists. The Discord verification bot stores only your Discord user ID and license key for redemption purposes. You can request deletion of this data by contacting jail on the DuelBot Discord.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Request access to any data stored about you
• Request deletion of your data from the Discord bot database
• Opt out of website analytics via browser settings
• Withdraw consent for webhook usage by removing the URL from config

Changes to This Policy

This policy may be updated as the product evolves. Changes will be announced in the DuelBot Discord server. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
